Online Psychological Evaluations for Adults in Utah
Comprehensive online psychological evaluations in Utah
Clear answers. Focused evaluations. No unnecessary complexity.
For many people, the mental health journey is filled with trial and error. You might have spent years in therapy, tried various treatments, or received overlapping diagnoses from different providers, yet part of your experience still feels unaddressed. You might quietly wonder if your struggles are due to trauma, severe anxiety, a mood disorder, or an undiagnosed neurodivergent trait like ADHD or Autism.
At a certain point, it is time to stop guessing.
Our psychological evaluations are designed to give you absolute clarity and a reliable roadmap you can actually work with—without dragging you through an unnecessarily exhaustive, highly impersonal process. We take a targeted approach that respects your time, your emotional energy, and your unique complexity.
And everything is done virtually, under the compassionate care and expert guidance of doctoral-level clinicians.
What we evaluate
We offer comprehensive psychological testing to help untangle complex mental health challenges. Our evaluations comprehensively assess:
- Neurodevelopmental Functioning: (ADHD and Autism Spectrum)
- Cognitive & Academic Abilities: (Intellectual giftedness, learning disorders/disabilities, and cognitive processing differences)
- Mood & Emotional Health: (Depression, bipolar spectrum, anxiety, and OCD)
- Trauma & Stress Responses: (PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociation)
- Personality & Interpersonal Dynamics: (Relational patterns and personality structures)
- Diagnostic Clarification & Co-Occurring Disorders: (Untangling overlapping symptoms, dual diagnosis, and complex mental health challenges)
Beyond the labels: The true purpose of evaluation
The purpose of getting a proper psychological evaluation is not about getting a label. Diagnoses are often discussed in simplified or overly stereotyped ways. In reality, mental health, trauma, and neurodevelopmental patterns reflect a highly complex spectrum.
The goal of our testing process is to help you develop a clear understanding of how your brain processes information, regulates emotion, connects in relationships, and navigates the world.
Without understanding the underlying root of your experiences, it is easy to default to less accurate, self-blaming explanations like, “I’m just not disciplined enough,” or “I should be able to handle this by now.” Over time, these interpretations become their own source of stress. A proper evaluation replaces years of second-guessing, inaccurate blaming, and confusion with something far more useful: clarity.

A closer look
If you are an adult in Utah, then getting tested is likely worth it if:
- You’ve long suspected neurodivergence but never pursued a formal evaluation.
- You often feel like you vacillate between productivity and burnout.
- You’ve participated in therapy for anxiety or depression, but part of your experience still feels unaddressed.
- You struggle with focusing, following through, social interactions, or cognitive organizing despite strong, compensatory effort.
- You’ve developed your own unique systems for coping with triggers, but they’re exhausting to maintain.
- You want clarity regarding how and why your brain works the way it does.
- You want to be fully informed on how to set yourself up for success in all areas of life.
What to expect: A 4-step process
We remove everything that isn’t necessary to your unique situation to make the testing process as simple and supportive as possible. Most of our clients finish the entire evaluation process within 2-4 weeks.
Step 1: Diagnostic Intake (60–90 minutes)
Our process begins with a structured, one-on-one virtual consultation. We will explore your history, current challenges, and the specific factors that inspired you to seek answers.
Step 2: Targeted Assessments (2–3 hours total)
After the initial consult, your clinician will send you a curated set of questionnaires specifically designed to assess your unique concerns. You can complete these securely online, at your own pace, from the comfort of your home.
Step 3: Interactive Testing or Clinical Follow-Up (60–90 minutes)
Depending on the type of evaluation you are receiving (such as Autism, cognitive, or complex diagnostic assessments), this step may involve a live, virtual testing session with your clinician to complete interactive tasks. For other types of evaluations, this time is simply reserved for follow-up questions to ensure complete diagnostic accuracy.
Step 4: Feedback Session & Written Report (60 minutes)
We will meet for a final consultation where we will walk you through your results in crystal-clear, direct language. You will receive a comprehensive, doctor-written report outlining findings, clinical impressions, and supportive suggestions for practical next steps.
What you’ll walk away with – Service benefits
We believe that psychological evaluations should be an illuminating, interesting, and empowering experience. No unnecessary steps. No inflated process. Our goal is to provide you with a clear and informative path to clarity and deeper self-understanding, which means you’ll walk away with so much more than a diagnosis.
Our comprehensive psychological evaluations are designed to help you understand exactly how your mind works and then equip you with helpful insights for how to use that information. After completing the evaluation process, you’ll have:
- Insight into how your psychological patterns manifest in daily life
- A deeper, contextual understanding of past experiences that felt confusing
- Authentic compassion and appreciation for the unique way you function
- Practical recommendations for next steps and/or supportive care
- A comprehensive, doctor-written report you can refer back to and use
For many of our clients, psychological evaluations replace years of second-guessing, inaccurate blaming, and confusion with clarity and a clear path forward.
Why our approach is different
A virtual, accessible testing model
Many adults avoid psychological testing because the traditional model—spending six hours in a clinical office taking exhaustive, generalized tests—is exhausting, overwhelming, and overstimulating. We do things differently.
By conducting our evaluations online via a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform, we offer distinct clinical advantages:
Emotional & Sensory Safety
Traditional clinical offices can be intimidating or overstimulating. By doing your assessment from home, you have complete control over your environment. Being in a familiar, safe space lowers your defenses and the pressure to “mask” or perform, allowing us to see and understand your most authentic self.
Reducing Logistical & Mental Stress
We know that seeking help when you are already struggling with depression, burnout, or executive dysfunction can be exhausting. We remove the stress of navigating traffic, finding parking, and managing time constraints. Furthermore, psychological testing requires significant mental and emotional energy. Being at home means that the moment the evaluation is over, you have the immediate space to rest and decompress.
Targeted and Efficient
We don’t do assembly-line testing. We have streamlined the logistics—not the science—so you get highly reliable results without the burnout.
Note: While virtual evaluations are highly effective and valid, there are specific situations where an in-person evaluation is best. If we determine that your unique clinical complexities require an in-person assessment, we will help guide you toward the most appropriate care.
Is a psychological evaluation right for you?
Getting evaluated is a powerful step in taking ownership of your mental health. A comprehensive evaluation is likely worth it if:
- You feel “stuck” in treatment: You have participated in therapy for months or years, but your treatment lacks clarity or your progress has plateaued.
- You have complex, overlapping symptoms: You need help untangling exactly what is going on (e.g., trying to figure out if your symptoms are driven by trauma, ADHD, bipolar spectrum, or a mix of several factors).
- You suspect you are neurodivergent: You have long wondered if you have ADHD, Autism, or a specific learning difference, but never pursued a formal evaluation.
- You feel overwhelmed by your internal world: You are struggling with persistent mood shifts, severe anxiety, or repeating relational patterns and want to understand the structural root cause.
- You are exhausted from overcompensating: You feel like you are constantly adapting, masking, or relying on extreme effort just to keep up with daily life, work, or relationships.
- You need a clear roadmap: You want a precise, clinical understanding of how and why your mind works so you can finally get the correct support, treatment, or accommodations.
